About
TINTA
An independent curatorial space for work on paper and ink. Few pieces, chosen to hold up to a second look ten years from now.
«We don't buy technique. We buy the hours the artist spent in front of the paper before wetting the brush.»
Founders, TINTA
TINTA was founded to make room for ink and drawing — what the contemporary art market left tucked away in the last aisle of the fair. Here the programme doesn’t turn over every month: a work can hang for a whole season.
We work with fewer than ten artists a season. We know every piece by heart and defend its price without discount. We only hang what we’d buy for our own walls.
